Sue is highly respected in the hospitality industry and brings a wealth of luxury hotel experience, having spent the last four years as general manager of Cliveden House, in Taplow, Berkshire, where she has overseen the refurbishment of this iconic property.  Prior to this she was general manager at the Bath Priory for 10 years, during which time she also oversaw Gidleigh Park in Devon and Lower Slaughter Manor in the Cotswolds.

The news was revealed in an announcement at the IET* in London on Monday 3 October.
 
The 2017 Michelin Guide is the benchmark for the finest food in the UK and the award recognises his acclaimed cuisine in the hotel’s fine dining restaurant The Dining Room, making it one of only 21 establishments in the UK to have attained two Michelin stars.
