Denmark is justly proud of it’s 5,000 miles of clean and sparkling white sandy beaches and from September this year will be marking out one area in particular along the south west coast from Blåvandshuk to the Tønder marshland when the area known as The Wadden Sea officially becomes Denmark’s third National Park.
Combining miles of by pristine coast with the vibrancy of one of Denmark’s most dynamic regional cities, North Jutland is ‘hotting’ up with an action packed calendar of events and festivities to suit all tastes and ages of traveller.
VisitDenmark has launched its 2010 'Be our Guinea Pig' holiday testing programme. The programmes gives 2 families and 4 couples the chance to go one a holiday to Denmark, where they are asked to test different types of activities, transportation and accommodation and document their trip through a short holiday video.
The freedom of a driving tour around Jutland is now easier than ever with a new collection of individually owned Inns or ’Kro’ which form part of the ’Danske Kroer and Hoteller’ collection. Scattered across the whole of Denmark, there are some particularly good examples of accommodation close to family attractions and golf courses and many are well known for their home comforts and gourmet restaurants, offering traditional Danish cuisine.
