On 15th May 2011, Okura Hotels and Resorts will be starting its first venture in Macau when the doors of the Hotel Okura Macau open for the first time. Macau is a global centre of tourism and leisure and becoming a popular choice for UK visitors who are attracted by its infrastructure of luxury hotels, attractions and world-class shows.
There are many different ways to get to know the deep rooted culture and heritage of The Netherlands, from its famous spring bulb field displays at Keukenhof Gardens to the masterpieces at the Van Gogh Museum, or the iconic Amsterdam ‘canal belt’, a feat of civil engineering and architecture that has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Japanese owned, five star Hotel Okura Amsterdam now brings all these elements together with its new range of enticing packages for 2011.
Green is the colour of Park Ventures, where Bangkok’s Okura Prestige Hotel is located – now taking shape in the heart of Thailand’s capital city. The 242-room hotel, scheduled to open in early 2012, occupies the top portion of a 33-storey structure that epitomises 21st century city planning. When fully operational The Okura Prestige is likely to be one of the region’s most environmentally-friendly hotels.
This month the five star Hotel Okura Amsterdam, which is renowned for its culinary excellence, is opening its fourth dining experience – ‘Serre Restaurant, inspired by Ciel Bleu’. This will enable a wider number of guests to enjoy the quality and style for which the hotel’s two Michelin star French restaurant, Ciel Bleu is renowned but presented with a lighter touch and in a more informal setting. Serre Restaurant will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for the first time making it possible for guests to enjoy a luxurious full-service breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant’s signature dish will be ‘Serre’s Bento box’ – a sumptuous box recommended by the Chef de Cuisine that contains a complete feast of culinary delights including seafood, meat and vegetable dishes, as well as dessert and an optional glass of wine - that guests can enjoy within 50 minutes.
As summer comes to an end and the days are drawing in the 5 star Hotel Okura Amsterdam is welcoming autumn with two special conference and events promotions for those booked and taking place at the hotel from now until the end of November 2010.
