![]() Aquarias Spa at Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa (01666 822 888; whatleymanor.com) is delighted to announce the opening of its new Polishing Room, a relaxing space dedicated to manicure and pedicure treatments. The Polishing Room has been furnished with two reclining chairs made to order by British spa furniture company REM, ideal for pedicures as they feature a pull-out foot bath soak, plus large arm rests offering two guests the chance to have a manicure and pedicure at the same time.
Guests can choose from a range of Jessica traditional nail colours and also from the range of GELeration colours for gel nails, which are more gentle on the nails. To complement the natural nail care treatment products, there is a collection of Jessica Nail Polishes to choose from, with new colours added each season. The Jessica manicure and pedicure experience includes exfoliation, nail shape, cuticle treatment and hand or foot massage, and is completed with either a colour polish or nourishing paraffin wax treatment. Perfect for men and women alike, the paraffin wax is applied warm over a moisturiser base and allowed to penetrate the cuticles, nails and skin to hydrate often sore, cracked and dry areas. The wax is then peeled off to reveal beautifully soft and soothed skin. Commenting on the opening, Spa Manager Jane McPherson said: ‘We are delighted to open this new Polishing Room to add to the Aquarias Spa experience. It is ideal for a mother and daughter, or for two friends to receive treatments at the same time, and it offers a tranquil and relaxing space for all of our spa guests and members to enjoy’. A Jessica 60-minute manicure costs £45; £55 for GELeration. A Jessica 60-minute pedicure costs £55; £65 for GELeration.
