Thursday 26th February 2015 – moloh – an introduction to a British fashion brand On Thursday, 26th February the first of the two events will see moloh founder and creative director, Caroline Smiley giving guests a ‘behind the scenes’ insight into the making and manufacturing of its spring and winter collection. Ladies’ fashion brand moloh offers exquisitely designed and tailored, British-made clothing and Caroline’s humorous talk will touch upon her travels to source particular fabrics, experiences from the early days of launching moloh ten years ago, and what it means to run a successful British fashion brand today. After the talk, guests can enjoy a glass of champagne whilst browsing the moloh collection in the gallery rooms. Guests are invited to try on clothing and enjoy shopping after lunch from around 1.45pm. £45 includes tea, coffee and biscuits served from 10.30am, Caroline’s talk from 11am, a glass of champagne and viewing of the moloh collection from 12 noon. Providing an insight into the glamourous world of fine jewellery from the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco era Paul will be demonstrating the ways in which royalty, history and fashion have shaped jewellery trends and using carefully selected pieces he will demonstrate how each piece has its own unique story and provenance. Paul will also share his tips on what to look for when buying antique and vintage jewellery at auction and the considerations of ownership. After lunch guests are invited to try on some of the beautiful jewellery. Exclusive offers on selected pieces will be available on the day for those wishing to make a purchase. £45 includes tea, coffee and biscuits served on arrival from 10.30am.
